ITALIAN CHOCOLATE DESIGNER

Born in 1980, after graduating at Politecnico del Commercio e del Turismo (CAPAC), Davide Comaschi starts his career at the iconic Pasticceria Martesana, where within a few months he becomes pastry chef, right-hand man of Maestro Vincenzo Santoro. In 2010 he joins AMPI (Association of Italian Pastry Chefs) and meets Maestro Iginio Massari, with whom he starts a collaboration as a teacher at CAST Alimenti. Maestro Massari also becomes his tutor and mentor during Comaschi’s the training for the World Chocolate Masters™.


In 2013, David Comaschi is the first and at the moment the only one to win the World Chocolate Masters™ competition in Paris.


After taking a Masters’ Degree in Culinary Nutrition at the prestigious Art joins Nutrition Academy, in 2016 Davide becomes a member of ASSIC Scientific Committee, the Association for Nutritional Safety. In the same year, he is chosen as testimonial of the first Italian edition of Salon du Chocolat and is appointed Director of Barry-Callebaut Chocolate Academy™ Center, Milan. In 2017 he joins ALMA scientific committee, where he’s responsible for all the classes focused on chocolate, cocoa and pralines.
